Welcome to Special Collections and Archives at Princeton Theological Seminary
The manuscript collections housed in the Theodore Sedgwick Wright Library at Princeton Theological Seminary include letters, sermons, lecture notes, scrapbooks, photographs, and other materials that shed light on the private lives and public careers of many notable figures. The collections also contain extensive materials relating to Presbyterianism, Christian missions, the ecumenical movement, and many other issues of academic and general interest.
The contents of each manuscript collection are described in guides (also known as “finding aids”) prepared by library staff. Each guide provides a detailed description of the collection and its creator, along with an inventory of all the items included in the collection.
We invite you to search and browse our online guides as an effective first step to discovering manuscript materials that match your research interests.
