This collection is divided into two series.

Series 1: Student papers

This series contains Votaw’s class notes dated 1945-52 and a folder of materials related to his 1945 PTS master’s thesis.

Series 2: Other materials

This series consists of booklets commemorating various special events at Gashland Presbyterian Church, Kansas City, MO in 1976. It also contains a copy of the June 1947 issue of “The Cedar Bough,” a publication of the Syria Mission of the Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A. This issue features a photograph of Paul Votaw and his wife, Betty, riding bicycles through Old Sidon.
