Scope and Content

The materials currently organized in the records include programs and event schedules from the annual meetings, printed copies of papers presented at these meetings, correspondence, membership rolls, news clippings, and various journals. When the collection was organized in August of 1996, these items were largely arranged chronologically, with each year given its own file folder. New folders are added as future materials are donated by the Academy.

Scope and Content The CAREE Manuscript Collection consists of approximately 20 linear feet of documents and publications. Inclusive dates of the collection are from 1964 to 2012, equally disbursed. The collection is divided into eight distinct series, arranged in order of receipt (accession) by Princeton Seminary and chronologically within each series. This collection includes Christian Education curriculum and related materials published by the Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A. and its successor United Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A. It includes teacher’s guides, student’s handbooks, journals, and Christian education resource materials.
