Scope and Contents The Moffett Korea Collection (Manuscript Collection) currently consists of 230 boxes arranged in five series. This collection offers additional documentation of the life and missionary work of the Moffett family, in addendum to the Moffett Korea Collection and the Moffett Korea Photograph Collection. Comprising correspondence, notes, reports, photographs and albums, artwork, maps, and published and unpublished manuscripts.

Scope and Contents

This series consists of letters and documents that William McElwee Miller shared between his family, friends, and associates from the early twentieth century to death in 1993. It is divided into three subseries: Early Life, Missionary Period, and Post-Missionary Life. All together, these materials document Miller's development as a missionary in Persia and his later work with Christian organizations while giving insight into his personal relationships.

Abstract

William McElwee Miller was a Presbyterian missionary and author who served in Persia from 1919 to 1962. This collection consists of the correspondence, works, documents, and memorabilia accumulated over the period of his lifetime from 1899 to 1993 and beyond.
