The collection consists of more than 200 short handwritten essays by freshmen students in the Literary Department of the Syrian Protestant College in 1885. The Abraham Kuyper Political Cartoon Collection
Abraham Kuyper is best known for his strong leadership, including four years as prime minister, of the major center-right, Protestant political party of the Netherlands from 1879 to 1920. Kuyper was also the foremost Calvinist proponent and intellectual of the late nineteenth century Netherlands. This collection contains large prints of political cartoons that feature Abraham Kuyper.
The George William Mansius Manuscript Collection
The William Kerr McKinney Manuscript Collection
The collection was given to the Seminary Archives in 1952 by Dr. McKinney's widow. It contains sermon manuscripts written by Dr. McKinney, largely from the latter years of his pastorate. There are several hundred bound and unbound sermons. These papers remained unorganized in the Seminary library's "Alumni Alcove" collection. The collection also contains expository notes of Dr. McKinney.
