Scope and Content

The bulk of this collection consists of research notes and photocopies of material relating to the life and work of Steven Colwell. It includes copies of works by Colwell, copies of his correspondence, and copies of other materials which were collected by an unknown researcher. This collection also includes the correspondence of Bruce Morgan, who wrote an essay on Colwell in Sons of the Prophets: Leaders in Protestantism from Princeton Seminary, which was published in 1963.
