Harry E. Rosser was born March 5, 1916, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and was ordained to the Baltimore Presbytery in 1945. During that time he worked with the Board of Foreign Mission and was part of the fraternal worker of the Commission on Ecumenical Mission and Relations with the United Presbyterian Church of the USA (UPCUSA) in Mexico. He was also Assistant Professor in Latin American Studies at College of Wooster in Ohio from 1969 to 1972 and Professor of Anthropology at the University of San Diego Guadalajara Program in 1973.

Moisés Sáenz, 1888 February 16 – 1941 October 24, was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico and died in Lima, Peru. He began his studies in the Civil College of his native city, Monterrey. He finished his superior course of studies in the Preparatory Presbyterian School of Coyoacán, D.F., Mexico, and later was awarded the title of Primary School Teacher in the Normal School of Jalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. He was granted a pension to attend the Washington and Jefferson College of Washington, P.A., where he earned his B.A. degree. He received his D.S. Degree at Columbia University and after graduating went to Paris to continue his education at Sorbonne. He returned to Mexico and was called upon to cooperate in the Public Administration, where he held the following positions: Principal of the National Preparatory School of Mexico City; Under Secretary of Public Education, and, later, Secretary of the same Ministry. He was also the founder of the Secondary Schools in Mexico, the Rural Schools, and the Normal Rural Schools. He was founder and Pioneer of the First National Indigenous Congress established in Patzcuaro, Mexico. He was Diplomatic Representative of his Country in the Republics of Ecuador and Peru and in Denmark.

He authored several published works including, El Indio Peruano y su Incorporación al medio Nacional, y El Indio Ecuatoriano, edited by the Ministry of Public Education of Mexico, D.F. 1933; Carapán, edited in Lima, Peru, 1936; México Integro, Lima, Peru, 1939; and Escuelas Rurales de la Sierra de Puebla; and many unpublisheded works on indigenous peoples of Latin America.
