Biographical Information

Mr. Charles F. Seabrook (1881-1964) was a pioneer in the "quick-frozen" food business. He has been called the "Henry Ford of Agriculture." Soon after taking control of the family farm in Bridgeton, New Jersey, Seabrook worked with Clarence Birdseye to develop a technique which made them the leading frozen food venture in the world.

Mr. Seabrook, a dedicated Presbyterian layman, used his considerable resources to support many institutions which were particularly dear to him, including Princeton Seminary. As a result, the Seminary established the position of C.F. Seabrook Director of Music and Lecturer in Church Music in his honor.
