Biographical / Historical
Gerard Clarence Pool was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 16, 1902. He graduated from Hope College (1926) and Princeton Theological Seminary (ThB, 1929; ThM, 1932). He was ordained in the Reformed Church of America. He served as a pastor at First Church of Lincoln Park New Jersey (1929-40) and First Church of Union City (1940-66). He retired in 1966.
