Biographical / Historical
Stanton Rodger Wilson (born 1923) received his education at Cornell University, Yale University, San Francisco Theological Seminary, and Princeton Theological Seminary (Bachelor of Divinity, 1949; Master of Theology, 1957). He was also awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) from Bloomfield College (1969). Dr. Wilson has served the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. for many years as a missionary to Korea, missionary representative, and pastor.
In 1957 Dr. Wilson constructed a comprehensive bibliography of the works of John A. Mackay (1889 - 1983), President of Princeton Seminary. This collection consists of files of Dr. Wilson’s notes (1958 - 1970) which were maintained as addendum to this bibliography. These notes were implemented by Dr. Wilson and Raymond Cannata in constructing a revised bibliography in 1992, which was published in Studies in Reformed Theology and History, vol. 1 (Fall 1993) no. 4. These notes were given to the Seminary Archives by Dr. Wilson in 1993.
