Biographical / Historical
Peter Ven-Hao Tsai was born in Soochow, China on November 22, 1914. He received degrees from The University of Shanghai (1940), Nanjing Theological Seminary (1945) and Princeton Theological Seminary (1948).

This gift was given to the seminary by Peter Tsai and was located in the office of Dean Foose until it was moved to Special Collections in early 2006.
Physical Description
Four paper scrolls measuring 46 1/2 in. long by 8 5/8 in. wide. Each scroll has a 5/8 in. wooden dowel rod at one end.
General
This collection consists of four decorative scrolls of Psalm 23 in Chinese. The scrolls are currently rolled separately and stored two to a box, with scrolls labeled '1' and '2' in Box 1, and those labeled '3' and '4' in Box 2.
