Biographical / Historical
Richard L. Sheffield is senior pastor of Market Street Presbyterian Church in Lima, Ohio. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, received in 1980, and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago. He is a candidate for the Doctor of Ministry degree at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Arrangement
This collection consists of one box containing four folders.
Folder 1 contains materials from the course Old Testament Studies, taught by Pete Powell in the fall of 1977. These materials include the course syllabus, two blue books, the final, mid-term examination, two quizzes, and lecture notes. Materials were originally all bound together. Original order has been maintained.
Folder 2 contains materials from the course Parish Preaching, taught by Bryant Kirkland in the fall of 1979. These materials include the course syllabus and lecture notes. Materials were originally all bound together. Original order has been maintained.
Folder 3 contains materials from the course Interpreting Genesis, taught by Bernhard W. Anderson in the spring of 1980. These materials include the course syllabus, readings, papers, and lecture notes. Materials were originally in two-pocket folder with the materials now in Folder 4. Original order has been maintained.
Folder 4 contains a continuation of materials from the course Interpreting Genesis, taught by Bernhard W. Anderson in the spring of 1980. These materials include the mid-term examination and lecture notes. Materials were originally in two-pocket folder with the materials now in Folder 3. Original order has been maintained.
