The Abraham Kuyper Political Cartoon Collection
Abraham Kuyper is best known for his strong leadership, including four years as prime minister, of the major center-right, Protestant political party of the Netherlands from 1879 to 1920. Kuyper was also the foremost Calvinist proponent and intellectual of the late nineteenth century Netherlands. This collection contains large prints of political cartoons that feature Abraham Kuyper.
The William Kerr McKinney Manuscript Collection
The collection was given to the Seminary Archives in 1952 by Dr. McKinney's widow. It contains sermon manuscripts written by Dr. McKinney, largely from the latter years of his pastorate. There are several hundred bound and unbound sermons. These papers remained unorganized in the Seminary library's "Alumni Alcove" collection. The collection also contains expository notes of Dr. McKinney.
The Robert Patterson Manuscript Collection
This collection consists of three copies of a typescript of Patterson's 250 page memoir. These items were organized as a manuscript collection in May of 1997.
The James Richards Manuscript Collection
This collection consists of two volumes of manuscript notes produced by students in Dr. Richards' courses at Auburn Seminary. One of the notebooks belonged to George Randall Shumway, who attended Dr. Richards' lectures on Didactic Theology and Moral Science in 1833. The other notebook gives no indication of its source or date other than that it contains notes on Dr. Richards' lectures on Didactic Theology at Auburn.
