The John Clark Bayless Manuscript Collection

Scope and Content

This collection contains sermon manuscripts and correspondence by the Reverend Bayless. Most of the letters have also been transcribed, with typescripts enclosed. Several of these letters are written to his parents while he was a student at Princeton and record his personal thoughts on the Seminary.

The John H. Sinclair Manuscript Collection

Abstract

The Rev. John Henderson Sinclair (b. 1924) is a member of the Princeton Theological Seminary Classes of 1947 (B.D.) and 1953 (M. Th.). This collection consists of one Hollinger Box of lecture notes taken by the Rev. Sinclair during his two degree programs. The notes were well organized and have been carefully preserved.

This collection was given to the Seminary Archives and Special Collections by the Rev. Sinclair in October, 1998.

This collection includes material related to Dr. Mulder’s years as a student and later as a professor of church history at Princeton Theological Seminary, including course notes, correspondence, faculty materials, material related to the seminary’s journal Theology Today (1967-1977), reviews, and material related to the project of microfilming the Papers of David Avery.
