This collection contains hundreds of Mr. Cary's weekly letters written from Princeton to his family, 1870-1873. These are arranged by year. There are also some items relating to Mr. Cary's work as alumni secretary for his class (1873) at the Seminary.

The papers of Barbara L. Clark include correspondence, research notes, photos, and manuscripts prepared for publication. They reflect her research and writings on the life of Elias Boudinot who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, President of the Continental Congress in Princeton, Trustee of the College of New Jersey, and head of the U.S. Mint.

The Class of 1894 Manuscript Collection consists of approximately 0.21 linear feet of documents, pamphlets, correspondence, and newspaper clips predominantly on the class fortieth and fiftieth reunions.

Scope and Content The bulk of this collection consists of research notes and photocopies of material relating to the life and work of Steven Colwell. It includes copies of works by Colwell, copies of his correspondence, and copies of other materials which were collected by an unknown researcher. The work in this collection is a transcription of Lectures on Preaching that was done in 1820 by one John Giles. It was presented to the library of Princeton Seminary that same year.
