This collection consists of sermon manuscripts, mementos, published items, lecture notes, book publication documents, correspondence, photographs, other personal papers of Dr. Blackwood, and those of his son, the Rev. Dr. James Blackwood.

Processing Information:
Most of these items were given to the Seminary Archives in March of 1997 by Dr. Blackwood's son, the Reverend Doctor James Blackwood (PTS B.D. 1945, Th.M. 1946). Box 6 includes a collection of material on James Blackwood (1908-2008) who was a pastor and an Air Force Chaplain in the 1940s and 50s. This collection was organized in June of 1997 by Raymond D. Cannata, under the direction of William O. Harris, Archivist. Other material on Blackwood collected by the Archives was integrated into this collection at that time.
