The Arthur M. Adams Manuscript Collection
The Arthur M. Adams Manuscript Collection consists of approximately 5 linear feet of documents pertaining to Adam’s work as a pastor and a professor. Inclusive dates are from 1942 to 1979, with the majority of the content falling between 1950 and 1970. The collection has been divided into three series, grouped by subject matter. These series are 1-Sermons, 2-Teaching Materials, and 3-Bible Class Talks.
The Joseph Addison Alexander Manuscript Collection
This collection includes classnotes and lectures, chiefly on Biblical history and church history, and personal correspondence.
The Archibald Alexander Manuscript Collection
The Henry Carrington Alexander Manuscript Collection
These papers consist of ten sermons, all but two of which were given in Virginia during the 1860s and some of which discuss the war in sympathy with the Confederacy.
The Maitland Alexander Manuscript Collection
These papers consist primarily of Maitland Alexander’s sermons from 1898 to 1927, and also contain some addresses and talks for these same years.
